1. Applicability

By placing an order on our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. International Shipping and Customs (Important)

To provide competitive pricing and a wide range of unique styles, our products are shipped directly from our international fulfillment centers in China.

  • Import Duties & Taxes: When ordering for delivery to Canada or other international destinations, you (the customer) are considered the "importer of record." You are responsible for any import duties, GST/HST, and customs clearance fees imposed by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) or local authorities. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping costs.

  • Delivery Times: While we aim for delivery within 5–15 business days after a processing period of 1–3 business days, please note that international shipping can occasionally be delayed by customs procedures beyond our control.

3. Product Information

We make every effort to describe our products accurately and provide up-to-date images. However, minor variations in color due to monitor settings or typographical errors in descriptions may occur. All offers are subject to availability.

4. Orders and Payment

Orders are processed once full payment is received. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product availability, errors in the description or price, or suspected fraudulent activity.

5. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with applicable consumer protection laws, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your items.

  • Return Address: Please note that because we ship from international hubs, the return address may be located in China.

  • Costs: Unless the product is defective, the customer is responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods. We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service.

  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused, and in the same condition as received.

6. Liability and Risk

The risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery to the address provided during the checkout process. Maple Rue is not liable for packages that are lost or stolen after the tracking information indicates the package has been successfully delivered.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Maple Rue and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

8. Complaints Procedure

Customer satisfaction is our priority. If you have a complaint, please submit it in writing to info@maple-rue.com. We aim to provide a substantive response within 5 business days.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with Dutch law. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be submitted to the competent courts in the Netherlands, unless mandatory local consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction (such as those in Quebec, Canada) grant you the right to resolve disputes in your local courts.
